Facilities

Wickham Community Centre has eight different rooms available for hire as well as two kitchens and two fully licensed bars.  There is a mobile bar for the main hall and a static bar in the Woodford suite.  There is plenty of free parking at the centre.  All of this allows the centre to provide facilities to a variety of groups and individuals of all sizes.

The Main Hall (16m x 22.5m)

A multi function room with a capacity of 480 people.  Ideal for a wide range of activities from fairs, fetes and large scale clubs.  It has direct access from outside for loading and  unloading.  With new acoustics work carried out it is also an ideal venue for live music and performance and large private functions.   A portable stage, fully licensed bar and kitchen are available in this room.

The Houghton Room (7.5m x 10m)

A medium sized carpeted room for up to 100 people with good natural light.  Situated close to the main kitchen.  Ideal for meetings, talks, presentations and social gatherings.  Television with video and screen available on request.

The Long Room (30m x 5.6m)

Long, narrow sound proofed room for up to 200 people with direct access from outside for loading and unloading.  Good venue for medium scale private functions and fairs.

The Meon Room (11.6m x 5m)

Medium sized room complete with its own sink and hard floor.  Ideal for children's parties and small groups.

The Woodford Suite (14m x 9.8m)

Located on the first floor.  The Woodford Suite has a large permanent licensed bar and dance floor.  The Woodford Suite is perfect for weddings and parties.  It is also ideal for meetings, conferences and talks.

The room will accommodate 80 people for a sit down meal and 150 for a buffet. There are some kitchen facilities as we now have a fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave and a table top cooker.

The Activities Room (9m x 5.5m)

Small room with lots of natural light and its own small kitchen.  There is a small fenced off grass area from this room as well as direct access to the Main Hall.  Ideal for small groups and children's parties.

The Victory Room (3.7m x 4.6m)

Small room with good natural light for up to twelve people. Ideal for small scale groups and meetings.

The IT Suite

Fully functional IT Suite with eight computers, two printers, Microsoft Office and wireless Broadband internet connection.

Main Kitchen

Large kitchen with fridge/freezer, lots of preparation space, water supply, urn, cups and saucers.
