Food & Drink
One of the great things about us is when it comes to catering, you have the freedom of choice to do whatever suits you best.
Bringing in your prepared food? We understand that small, not for profit groups may wish to bring their prepared food. We will not charge you for the use of the kitchen to warm food or to make tea, coffee and cold drinks - we'll even loan you the crockery - but please leave the kitchen clean and tidy afterwards. A small donation would be appreciated to cover the overheads!
We have a well-equipped kitchen on the ground floor, equipped with a gas double oven and hob, electric oven, microwave, fridge-freezer and commercial dishwasher/glasswasher. You can hire the kitchen at a daily rate of up to £100 which gives you the use of all the appliances, the cold room would be an additional cost if wanted.
Drink
We are fully licensed and offer a comprehensive range of beers, wines and spirits for consumption on the premises.
The Woodford Suite houses our well-equipped bar but we can also stock a mobile bar for use in any room. This is particularly advantageous for parties in the main hall.
Rather than a bar, another option would be to have a drinks service for seated diners; we can produce a drinks menu with service to suit. We will be happy to discuss whatever option works for you.
Generally, alcohol is not permitted to be brought into the Centre. However, we appreciate there may be exceptional circumstances and we take every request on its merit. We will make a corkage charge of £3 per person should this happen. Please talk to us about the supply of alcohol for your event. Lunch - sandwiches, a range of savouries and cakes, £9.50 per head. Teas and Coffees £2 per head
Food
We have inside and outside caterers that can produce any menu to suit your event and budget. From simple working lunches, buffets or formal dinners, we offer a wide range of choices.
Our own in-house caterers specialise in the more immediate requirement, such as working breakfasts, cafe-style service and sandwich lunches for small meetings. This type of food is prepared and cooked on the premises.
You decide what type of catering your event requires and we will provide a solution to meet those needs. We have full transparency with our pricing and are happy for you to speak directly to our appointed caterers.
Lunch option prices are as follows:
- We can provide the equipment for teas and coffees for £10 per session
- Unlimited tea, coffee, squash etc on a self-service basis is £2.50 per head
- Working Lunch - sandwiches, cake, crisps, savouries, teas, coffees and fruit from £9.50 per head
- Finger Buffet Lunch - sandwiches, a range of savouries, cakes, teas and coffees £9.50 per head
The bar does not operate on a permanent basis but is available to complement your function. If you choose to hire either the static bar or the mobile bar, we will make a charge depending on the size of your event. Please enquire for the hire price.
In addition, a fully refundable Damage deposit of £100 -£300 (dependant on size of party) is required whenever hiring for a party
